The SWEET Project (Incorporting Sweeties Project)

The SWEET Project was established in 2000 with funding from the Home Office, the local health authority, Kirklees Council, the police, drug and care agencies, Job Placement Link and The Brunswick Centre, Halifax. The aim of the SWEET Project is two-fold, it focuses on the re-habilitation and exit of sex workers from the industry as well as enhancing the communities where they operate – reducing the levels of crime and fear of crime.
