The Blue Room

The Blue Room is an agency that works through creative engagement with young men who are vulnerable to sexual exploitation in Manchester. Offers young men the opportunity to engage in arts activities such as drama, visual arts, digital media and music and create high quality artistic products. Projects include an Art Exhibition on the streets of Manchester’s Gay Village, a devised performance at Manchester’s Greenroom and a short film using digital media. In July 2009 the young men created several performance and interactive pieces for a conference “Down not out” – a day about experiences of mental health, substance use and homelessness, attended by 250 people.
