Buddy Me Project, Asphaleia Action

Buddy Me project (BM) funded by Comic Relief aims to reduce the number of trafficked young people falling into the hands of criminal traffickers to be exploited through slavery and prostitution. BM supports trafficking victims, providing eight week intensive buddying to empower “at risk” young people in making the decision not to contact their trafficker and disappear into a life of exploitation. BM provides a flexible programme of intensive buddying and needs related support to trafficked young people (aged 14-19) upon arrival in the UK.
