Job Opportunity.

Recently the National Working Group was fortunate in attracting one years funding to begin developing a specialist team for members and statutory agencies to call upon for assistance when required. The issue of Child Sexual Exploitation has moved forward at a very fast pace recently and I am delighted to inform the membership of this expansion of our service to you all.

This opportunity is directed at anyone who feels they can assist in the development of LSCB’s and Children’s Services in particular, in order to support the implementation of the National Action Plan. It would suit individuals looking for professional development, either as a job share or as a year full time position. The job is likely to involve considerable travelling and engagement with a wide range of services from all sectors and I have found it to be very interesting and a good challenge with lots of opportunities.

Our intention is to attract further funding to expand the role past one year.
