ECPAT UK – Watch over me

ECPAT UK has launched Watch over me – a report that is part of their ongoing campaign calling on the UK Government to establish a system of guardianship for child victims of trafficking.
Child victims of trafficking require the support of an independent and dedicated guardian who would have parental responsibility and represent their best interests and ensure that they receive the educational, medical, practical and legal support they need to help rebuild their lives. The current arrangements for these children fall well short of this.
