urvivors West Yorkshire is a small advice and support centre for survivors of sexualviolence/abuse. It’s main focus is adult childhood abuse survivors – male and female.

They co-ordinating a National campaign calling on Parliament to debate the needs of male victims of sexual crime to:

- Acknowledge the needs of male victims/survivors of sexual violence and abuse across the lifespan. - Recognise the need for specialist male services in England, as male victims/survivors experience different issues to females. - Formulate an evidenced English male victim/survivor strategy inline with Scotland’s, Northern Irelands and Wales. - Identify gaps in service provision and research via independent evaluation. - Reinforce current best practice in meeting male victim/survivor needs in both current and future service provision. - Involve male victims/survivors directly in the development of the above. Acknowledge their human right to shape the services which meet their recover/resolution objectives.

By signing the petition we can jointly encourage government to debate the issues raised by male victimisation and look to the possible positive outcomes forsociety as a whole by doing so.
