New materials available as part of Barnardo’s Cut them free campaign

As you are aware, sexual exploitation affects thousands of children and young people in the UK. We can all play an important role in reducing that number, helping to cut children free from this abuse.

Provision for this area of child protection varies significantly across the country so Barnardo’s has published a new checklist for local authorities, to be used as a prompt for councils in England to consider their response to this issue.

Barnardo’s have also produced new guides for professionals who work with children across the UK, as well as versions for parents and young people, as part of the Cut them free campaign.
